STUART E. DUNCAN passed away on September 2, 2006, after a distinguished forty-four year career in the practice of law.
PAUL HATCHER sits on the board of directors of the Chattanooga-Hamilton County Speech and Hearing Center, a non-profit organization which provides care and services to the speech and hearing impaired of this area. Paul is a contributing author of the World War II Desk Reference, published in June, 2004 by Harper-Collins and sponsored by the Eisenhower Foundation, and has contibuted articles to WWII History magazine. He lives in Chattanooga with his wife Bambi and children, the dog, two cats and two birds. His hobbies include writing, hiking, and traveling by boat and by train. He holds a bachelor of arts in English liturature from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, and a doctor of jurisprudence from the University of Tennessee (Knoxville).
MOLLIE MARTIN CORN was Assistant Attorney General for the State of Ohio for five years before coming back to Chattanooga, her hometown. In Ohio she served as lead counsel for the state's $54 billion retirement system. She is a member of the South Eastern Tennessee Legal Association for Women and is a past participant in the Big Brothers/ Big Sisters Program. She has also served as a district court mediator. She is married to Doug Corn, is mother to Sam, and enjoys gardening, cooking, traveling, and the woods surrounding her home. She has a bachelor of business administration from the University of Tennessee (Knoxville), and a doctor of jurispridence from Capital University.
CHRIS MARKEL practices in the areas of commercial litigation and personal injury. He is a captain in the U.S. Army reserve. Chris is married to Mary Ellen and is the father of Eli, 3 and Allison, six months. Chris has a bachelor of arts in history from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, and a doctor of jurisprudence from the University of Memphis.
APRIL PERRY RANDLE served as judicial clerk to the Honorable Frank E. Schwelb of the D. C. Court of Appeals and held a position as defense policy analyst in Washington, D.C., before returning to her hometown of Chattanooga to practice law. She comes to Duncan & Hatcher from solo private practice. She lives with her husband and son in nearby McDonald, Tenn. April holds a bachelor of arts degree from Middle Tennessee State University and a doctor of jurisprudence from Washborm University School of Law.
SANDY GOTHARD is a city councilman for the City of Lookout Mountain, Georgia, and is a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church where he has served on the Vestry and currently serves on the Finance Committee. He lives on Lookout Mountain with his wife, Sharon, and children. He holds a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Tennessee and graduated from the Nashville School of Law with a doctor of Jurisprudence in 1995.
ADAM MAJOR lives in Chattanooga with his wife and four children. He holds a bachelor of science in History from Union University and a doctor of jurisprudence from Mississippi College School of Law.
